Human Viral Immunology

Why do some vaccines protect some individuals and not others?

Adriana discussed Atomic lab research with Chloe Wojtanik and Maureen Stanton.  We focus on understanding why some people are more resistant to viruses and how we can use this insight to create vaccines that work better for everyone.

Our focus is on developing vaccines that offer long-lasting immunity against viruses with pandemic potential. We start our research with human samples to speed up the development process and increase accuracy. Using the AI tool developed in Atomic lab we can predict how the immune system will respond to vaccines, streamlining our approach.

Adriana explained, “By focusing directly on human cells, we bypass many challenges and accelerate the creation of effective vaccines.” Our goal is clear: to understand and enhance the human immune defense, leading to better and more enduring protection against diseases.
