November 29th 2023. Atomic Lab is at IUIS2023 in Cape Town!

We’re thrilled to share our incredible experience at the IUIS Conference on Immunology, held for the first time in beautiful Africa, right here in sunny and welcoming Cape Town! The city has charmed us with its amazing views, delightful food, and exceptionally warm people.

It was fantastic to connect with colleagues from around the globe, and diving into enriching discussions. There was a whole session dedicated to Human Systems Immunology that’s been enlightening.

The organizers, including the African Immunology Societies, have truly outdone themselves, especially with that unforgettable dinner party and THE MOST AMAZING band ever!!

We had a poster on how we are using AI to identify flu T-cell immunity. Plus, Adriana gave a talk on combining Systems Immunology & AI for breakthroughs in immunology research.

We left Africa inspired by the vibrant scientific community and look forward to future conferences in Africa, fostering more collaboration and innovation. This was a perfect ending to 2023!
